Gapan councilor, 2 others survive gun attack A Gapan City councilor, his wife and another person survived an attack by four armed men of their house in Barangay Malimba last August Investigation showed that the gunmen forced themselves into the house of de Guzman and shot at the victims several times.
The de Guzman couple was later transferred to another hospital for further treatment. Police recovered several shells of various calibers. Nieves said he had ordered the city chief of police to conduct a follow-up investigation to identify the gunmen. The motive for the attack is still being looked into.
